Also, great job on raising awareness of the issue. My partner and I were only vaguely aware of the deforestation due to oil-palm until it was spelled out for us on a box of your oatcakes and this has inspired us to find out more. As it seems that sustainable oil-palm production is a myth, your stance in using Olive oil seems to be the best way to go. We are following your fine example with the rest of our shopping.

"I think it's great that you are producing 'Orangutan-Friendly oatcakes!! I picked up a pack of your oatcakes last night, firstly because I always try to buy Scottish produce. When I saw that your oatcakes didn't contain any palm oil, I was extremely pleased with my purchase!! Trying to find prodcuts that don't contain palm oil is extremely difficult as many manufacturers (especially supermarket own-brands) hide it in the ingredients calling it 'vegetable oil'.
I am a supporter of the Borneo Orangutan Foundation and have been out to some of the worst-affected areas in Borneo. When I was trying to find your website, I found lots of discussions about "What next? Orangutan-friendly oatcakes?" I only wish these narrow-minded people could see what a serious issue this is!
