Here at Paterson`s we believe everyone can do their bit to help the environment. Our offices now have recycling bins for paper and plastic waste and a number of other recycling projects have been set up to ensure that we recycle as much of our waste as possible.
Although the removal of palm oil from our oatcake recipe has dramatically reduced the range's carbon footprint, we are also looking at reducing our packaging and energy levels. As an example, our newly designed oatcake cartons are made from 95% recycled board.
We also have an Environmental Committee in place, which is always looking at ways to improve how we utilise our resources, conserve energy, waste reduction and protect the environment around us.
