Paterson's Wild About Oats
Palm Oil
As you'll now know, at Paterson Arran, we take the issue of plam oil and the threat this crop has on the environment and Orangutans, very seriously.
Every year, millions of acres of Borneo rainforest is being cut down, which is accelerating global climate change, pushing endangered species closer to extinction and threatening the way of life of indeginous people, all for the sake of cheap palm oil.
We have gathered a list of articles from a number of publications, from around the world, which will hopefully make you understand why we removed palm oil from our oatcake recipe over 4 years ago and replaced it with the more sustainable and less saturated Olive Oil.
