Gram for gram, oats are one of the healthiest grains.

Yes they contain protein, calcium, iron, zinc and magnesium, which provide the body with energy, maintain strong bones and help both the immune and reproductive systems, but did you also know that oats can actually lower your cholesterol level?

How? By soaking up the cholesterol and enabling your body to get rid of it naturally. Which in turn reduces the risk of heart disease – a major cause of premature death. Wonderful things, oats!
