Summary of GI ratings

GI stands for Glycaemic Index – that's a measure of how quickly your body turns carbohydrates into glucose. Foods with high GI values (70 or more), such as rice cakes, are converted quickest, making you feel hungrier sooner.

Oats, on the other hand, have a famously low GI rating. So our entire oatcake range will leave you feeling satisfied for longer. Most of them have a medium rate of 59. But make way for our new Cheese & Mild Chilli Oat Bites. They boast a rock bottom rating of just 46. Beat that!
